Perhaps illusions can be traced to our placing judgements and formulating opinions on what is. Upasni Maharaj, a great Spiritual Master said that if we were able to appreciate the NOW and not regret the past nor worry about the future that,"Be as it may."….we would be free ~ of our endless wants and desires.

Changing oneself seems to first begin with moments of silence, taking time to remove ourselves from the constant stimulus of distractions from the world to be in the silence able to reflect. Connecting with our inner wisdom, seems to be possible then.
