Jon Haebig

Grew up in Wisconsin, PhD in chemistry, Univ. Chicago 1966, married Mimi there in 1964, worked in Pittsburgh at Gulf Oil labs and reared three kids. In 1983 to Duke Univ. to do biomedical research. Retired 1998, moved to Carol Woods 2010. United Church of Chapel Hill since 1992. Concern about environmental degradation since mid-’80’s, now global climate change. Helped conduct classes on this at church.
