Program Overview

10.10.10 is all about bringing forth a New World that reflects our deepest dreams and highest aspirations as human beings. The intent for the day is to create a deep, authentic experience of connectedness, hope, and genuine resolve to actually begin creating that world.

The activities below will be repeated each hour from 10am – 6pm. Times are approximate.

:20 Individual Reflection and Integration

Self-paced reflective stroll around the Mall to reflect on the hourly

invitation and to imagine life in the New World.

:45 Sharing the Many Visions as One

Sharing visions in open dialogue on the steps to Reflecting Pool, and/or record visions on camera beside the E-Pluribus Unum plaque.

The Collective Voice of Hourly Invitations

Today is the day where all of this is possible.  All as One: Read, feel, and unite all these invitations into one collective voice. All present read the Imagine statements out loud together.

Those gathered form circle of love and light at the foot of the steps, near the Reflecting Pool, for 20 minutes of silence to amplify the cumulative energy from the day inside us and out into the universe. Stay a few minutes or the entire 20 minutes.

7:00-9:55pm Celebration

Spontaneous music, drumming, dancing, laughter celebrating our arrival to create the New World and ringing in the era in which we will create it.

9:55-10:00pm Closing Circle: “Out of Many: One.”

Closing circle of Oneness and appreciation around the E Pluribus Unum plaque.  Let the New World be born!
